Local sponsorship gives us the freedom to explore new ideas, to test and develop something different. It gives us a chance to connect with our community, build relationships and trial our thinking in the real world.
A small contribution can make a real difference to a local PTA, charity, club or association. Sponsoring a simple stall can be an appealing way to promote your business and engage with new customers. The return on investment may not be immediate, but it can accumulate.
Raising funds is hard. We’ve done it and still do it. Every pound is earned the hard way. But, when the funds come together and the charity can afford something they desperately need, it’s worth it. The benefits are real and happen straightaway.
Platformation has been a proud sponsor of the CSP Montessori celebrations and continues to be a Friend of Montessori.
As chairperson for the CSP Montessori PTA for almost two years we have organised countless fundraising events, both big and small. It has been challenging but also very rewarding.
Through ongoing fundraising by the PTA we have paid for many projects, including “Hatch the Chicks” at the pre-school. The children loved it and learned a lot at the same time. Worth all the hard work!
Supporting the CSP Montessori PTA, has been an interesting journey. It has shown us that the mechanisms that work on a big scale can also be relevant on a local level. As a sponsor, we wanted to set an example and showcase a relationship in community sponsorship.
Platformation is a proud sponsor of CAWC International, a social club with a philanthropic mission. CAWC International supports local causes and our sponsorship fees help to fund the club structures. We have volunteered as the sponsorship manager of the club.
CAWC International gave us another opportunity to transfer our international experience to a local cause. It’s a welcome relief to the high-pressure commercial world full of restrictions and closed doors. On a local level, ideas and enthusiasm are met with gratitude. It has helped us develop a network and enter into conversations that turn up unexpected opportunities.
